What is NextGen Doctors?

Developing the Next Generation of Healthcare Leaders Through Community Health Action

At NextGen Doctors, we focus on addressing real community health needs through hands-on action. We organize supply drives and fundraisers to provide essential health necessities such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, socks, bandages, menstrual products, blankets, and other basic hygiene and wellness items for individuals experiencing homelessness in Los Angeles. Through this work, students develop leadership and awareness of health equity while making a direct impact.

Over 75,000 individuals experience homelessness in Los Angeles County, many without consistent access to basic health necessities. We work to address this gap by providing essential hygiene and wellness supplies to those who need them most.

Ovsanna Muradyan

Ovsanna Muradyan is the founder and President of NextGen Doctors. She leads the club’s mission to address community health needs through service initiatives providing essential health necessities to individuals experiencing homelessness in Los Angeles. She is passionate about health equity, leadership, and student-led impact.

Hannah Tinio

Hannah Tinio serves as Vice President of NextGen Doctors, supporting club operations and helping coordinate service initiatives. She is committed to expanding student involvement and contributing to meaningful community health efforts.

Lilla Tardia serves as Secretary of NextGen Doctors, managing club communications, documentation, and meeting organization. She plays a key role in maintaining structure and supporting the club’s service-focused mission.

Bilal Smaili serves as Treasurer of NextGen Doctors, overseeing the club’s finances and ensuring funds are responsibly managed. He supports fundraising efforts and helps allocate resources toward purchasing essential health supplies for community partners.
