NextGen Doctors is a student-led platform where young people interested in the medical field share articles and insights about healthcare, research, and medicine. Our goal is to make learning about medicine more accessible and inspiring for the next generation of healthcare leaders. Students can contribute by submitting their own articles, research, or papers to be featured in our journal.
Submitting an Article
At NextGen Doctors, we invite students interested in the medical field to share their ideas and perspectives with our growing community. Submissions are open to high school students (grades 9–12), and exceptional guest submissions from college students or healthcare professionals may be accepted by invitation. Articles may explore medical topics, research, literature reviews, or innovative ideas in healthcare. Before submitting, please review the rubric and guidelines on the “Submit an Article” page to ensure your work meets our standards for clarity, accuracy, and professionalism. Hi, I'm Ovsanna, the founder of NextGen Doctors. I started this project because I've always been passionate about healthcare and wanted to create something that could actually make a difference. As a high school student interested in anesthesiology, I realized that many of us want to explore medicine beyond what we learn in school in order to really understand what the field is like, hear from professionals, and share our own ideas. NextGen Doctors is my way of bringing that to life. Through student-written articles and giving every student a chance to contribute their thoughts, we're building a community that learns, teaches, and inspires together. My goal is to help future healthcare leaders find their voice early and connect with others who share the same passion for medicine and service.
